Karaoke Package: either during reception alongside dancing, or as afterparty entertainment.
$1000 Karaoke package includes a larger screen with lyrics for guests, and a smaller monitor on rolling cart with lyrics for person singing. Multiple wireless mics and mic stands provided for group sing-a-longs.
Additional charges: here are some ways your quote could be higher than my base pricing:
- you are planning a large event with 200+ guests, which would require my biggest sound systems, including subwoofers
-
your venue requires additional insurance beyond a standard COI (Example: they need to see “waiver of subrogation” & “primary, non-contributory” endorsements).
- your venue is outside of my typical working radius. I work events in the Hudson Valley, on Long Island, in NJ, PA, MA, CT but need to charge for the travel time beyond Brooklyn, and hotel stay after 3 hour drive.
- your venue limits access and setup time, requiring me to hire additional help to set up and strike quickly.
- I need to hand-carry my gear up sets of stairs instead of just using my hand trucks, rolling everything in.
- your venue has extreme wait times for the freight elevator (for example, I’ve waited over 30 minutes for freight access at Virgin Hotel to get up to their 38th floor)
- your venue is in midtown Manhattan in a “No Standing” zone, where I need to bring additional help to watch my vehicle as we load in.
-
your guests will be between multiple different rooms at the same time, and I need to spend time connecting the independent sound systems together (for example, Brass & Tusk Bar requires this)
Sample Pricing examples:
Easy to work in venues like Wythe Hotel, 501 Union, Rule of Thirds, Hamilton Loft, Shell’s Loft: $3,250 base price for 2026.
Manhattan venues that are trickier to work in, like Virgin Hotel, Harold Pratt House, Second: $4,000+
Montauk venues (and other locations ~4 hours away in traffic): $5,000
Note: some easy-to-work-in venues outside the city might be cheaper than tough-to-work-in venues in the middle of Manhattan. Inquire here and I can give you an exact quote.
